Diphilos aus dem Demos AlopekeXII Sekretär war; im - - -am achten, dem zweiund- - -sten (Tag) der Prytanie; Volks-versammlung in dem Theater; von den Vorsitzenden leitete die Abstimmung - - -aus dem Demos Phaleron und seine Mitvorsitzenden. Beschluss von Rat und Volk; - - -S.d. Menekles aus dem Demos Aphidna stellte den Antrag: Worüber Bericht erstatten die Prytanender Aiantis, nämlich über die Opfer, die sie opferten vor den Volksversammlungen demApollon Prostaterios und der Artemis Boulaia und denanderen Göttern, denen es traditionell Brauch war; sie auch Sorge getragen haben für dasZusammentreten des Rates und der Volksversammlung und für alles andere, was ihnen dieGesetze vorschrieben und die Beschlüsse des Volkes: dass man belobige die Prytanender Aiantis und bekränze mit goldenem Kranz gemäß dem Gesetz wegen ihrerFrömmigkeit gegenüber den Göttern und ihres Ehrgeizes für den Rat unddas Volk der Athener; dass diesen Beschluss der Sekretär, der während derPrytanie amtiert, aufzeichne auf eine steinerne Stele und aufstelle in dem Prytani-kon; dass für die Aufzeichnung auf die Stele der Finanzverwalterdie entstandenen Kosten begleiche.vacat 0,021- - -

The People decided. –son of Menekles of Aphidna proposed: about what the prytany of Aiantisreport concerning the sacrifices which they made before the Assemblies toApollo Prostaterios and Artemis Boulaia and theother gods to whom it is traditional, and managed the convening of theCouncil and the People and everything else which the lawsand decrees of the People require of them; to praise the prytanyof Aiantis and to crown it with a gold crown according to the law for itspiety towards the gods and love of honour towards the Athenian Council andPeople; and the prytany secretary shall inscribe thisdecree on a stone stele and stand it in the prytanikon;and the administrator shall allocate for [inscribing?] the stelethe expenditure accrued.vacat 0,021- - -
